Reasons NOT to be a writer

- Newspapers are going down the tubes.

- So are magazines.

- Good luck getting a book published if you're not a celebrity, Stephanie Meyer, or Eckhart Tolle.

- User manuals aren't fun to write.

- Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, text messaging, e-mail, and blogs have made it so that everyone's a "writer" now. (This link is seriously funny, you should click on it.)

- You have to give away your secrets.

- You might get carpal tunnel syndrome.

- Words don't always come easily.
